H-Share
What Is H-Share?
The H-Share scheme has been developed to provide competent personnel to
assist Clients in maintaining their Health and Safety Systems and to provide
contract / job specific document preparation and inspections.
Why Use H-Share?
Current legislation is increasing and being updated continuously; unless
this is your main job description it is difficult to keep abreast of the
changes and be able to find applicable reference information. We subscribe
to lists to keep us informed of these changes.
Main job activities generally take precedence over Health and Safety and it may
be addressed as an after thought. We can provide assistance to make the
process of health and safety manageable.
Our consultants have undertaken NEBOSH training and obtained on the job training
to provide competent Health and Safety cover.
What Does It Cost?
You pay an agreed yearly price which depends on the input required for your specific
Company based on the levels of risks encountered. Payments can be either on a quarterly or a visit basis.
What Do You Get Within H-Share?
• An agreed number of days of consultancy / inspection / monitoring which includes updating your
management system and records
• A free phone help line
• A letter which defines that we are your Company's competent Health and Safety Advisor
• Consultancy services at a discounted rate to cover any area of health and safety that arises in the course of the year
• Preferential booking of consultant time to deal with any Health and Safety accidents or incidents arising
• Preferred status on booking Health and Safety Training courses.
What Do We Do?
Our advisors can provide the following over the period of the H-Share contract:
• Trained and experienced Consultant to act as your Health and Safety Advisor.
• Assistance in development and implementation of safe systems of work
• Update of policies to reflect current legislation. Where new legislation comes into effect we will
automatically inform you and at the next policy review update it as required.
• Periodic works / site safety inspections and issue of reports which define hazards and
actions to reduce risks.
• Ongoing assistance in undertaking and updating Risk Assessments as your requirements change
over a period of time.
Contract specific assistance can be provided on agreement of further terms in which the scope of work is agreed.
We can provide:
• Assistance from the tender stage, through the development of the Health and Safety Plan, the production
of method statements / risk assessments to the evaluation and monitoring of Subcontractors, their policies,
risk assessments and site performance.
• Company and site policies, site rules and to respond to Planning Supervisor requirements.
• On-site safety inspection and reports to the level agreed and represent our clients at Site
Safety and other relevant meetings.
• In the unfortunate event of an accident on site, we are able to carry out an investigation,
produce reports and make recommendations.
